The crew of the CSS Chicora is proud to present the
finest historical miniature reenacting rules systems.
CSS Chicora Productions does not offer any 3D solid
figures/models. Thus all rules have been written to
enable players to use any of their favorite figs. 99%
of the figs and models on the market can be used
with the appropriate rule system.
The basic rules have a few flat paper models for
those wanting to try the game but not wishing to
spend a lot of money. The cards were designed to
enable players who can not obtain figs or have
limited storage to play the game. All rules were
designed for use with miniatures.
The CD versions have everything required for a
game using flat business card models. Business
card stock is available at all large office supply
stores. These also offer something else. Varies with
each rule system.
For several of the games the cards, used by
themselves or to represent active models, offer a
great way to conduct HIDDEN MOVEMENT.
All rules have been play tested before they are
offered for use by others. When possible they have
been checked by someone with live combat in that
field.
All rules have been written in a military manual
format. This makes it easy to read and find
something later. Anything not required for play has
been left out.
All items are sent in a PDF format. Almost all
computers have the Adobe Reader. The purchaser
buys the right to print the items as often as he/she
personally needs. The items may not be shared with
others. Electronic books are covers by the same
copy right laws as paper books.
Purchasing rule systems in this manner offers many
advantages over paper books.
1. The rules are cheaper.
2. They are stored neatly inside the computer.
3. You print only what you need.
4. Your printer is cheaper than our's.
5. Your printer is cheaper than the Copy Store.
6. If you lose your copy - print another.
7. If you spill your favorite beverage - print another.
8. Print all the forms you need at home.
9. Print as many of the vessels as you need for a
certain game.
10. Feel free to mark up the copy - print another.
11. With the rules on computer you can down load to
your laptop or palmcorder and take them any
where.
